


Yan Simon is a singer-songwriter, actor, and recording artist crafting pop music inspired by the emotional storytelling and spectacle of theatre. Blending upbeat, synth-driven electropop with heartfelt piano ballads, Yan transforms deeply personal experiences into cinematic, emotionally charged songs about identity, queerness, love, and resilience.
Recognizable for his signature eye makeup, rich baritone, and magnetic live performances, Yan Simon delivers a glam-pop spectacle that has drawn comparisons to Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Elton John, andLady Gaga.
Since launching his solo project in 2020, Yan has independently released an album, two EPs, multiple singles, and accompanying music videos. His music has received radio airplay across Ontario and British Columbia, including notable support in Toronto and Vancouver for his singles “Hey Boy” and “What Feels Good”.
His single “Marathon” is also featured in the Ottawa indie film "Cassandra", available soon on Amazon and Tubi.
Alongside his music career, Yan continues to work in acting while developing his next album and writing an original musical.
